The Founder and CEO

Mr. Jacob Sebastian is the Founder, CEO and Chairman of the company. Born and brought up in Kerala State (India), his educational background encompasses mainly the following:

Bachelor’s Degree course in Mechanical Engineering in M.A. College of Engineering in Kothamangalam, Kerala University (India), with specialization in Nuclear Engineering.

Master’s Degree course in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras (Chennai, India), with specialization in Combustion Technology.

Master’s Degree course in Energy Management at Utrecht University (Netherlands), and accreditation as Energy Consultant.

MBA in International Trade & Finance at the Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, UK.

Mr. Sebastian’s professional career includes the following:

As Officer with the Ministry of Defence, New Delhi (India).

As Operations Manager with a leading Industrial firm in Bahrain, the Middle East.

As Chief Engineer with the European Division of an American Multinational Company.

Since 2001, he established and runs his own group of companies which now includes Dekkaan Enterprises. As Engineer-turned-entrepreneur, other companies which he has founded, operated and subsequently sold include:

Devas International Trading (Import & Export).

Soyant International BV (Software development & IT Services)

Shanta Bay Enterprises Ltd (Business consultancy & equity participation)

Shanta Bay Belize Ltd (Real Estate development in Belize, Central America).
