The core business of Dekkaan Enterprises is primarily in three sectors:
1). Dekkaan Real Estate: Investment in existing residential and commercial buildings, investment in existing 3rd party projects, and land acquisition & development.
2). Dekkaan Equity Participation in selected businesses.
3). Dekkaan Publishing: Publication and worldwide distribution of selected books.
1). Dekkaan Real Estate
In our Real Estate business, we concentrate on three sectors. Some Asian countries are our current focus of attention.
1) We invest in high-end residential homes (apartments and villas), commercial buildings, and other unique buildings with potential for further value addition through improvements.
2) We invest and participate in existing 3rd party projects, ongoing or completed, in Real Estate Development.
3) We invest in un-built or under-built landed properties in urban, suburban and resort areas which have potential for value addition through optimal development.
2). Dekkaan Equity participation
We do equity participation in young and prospering companies in promising sectors, but only on the basis of obtaining and holding a controlling majority in the management and operation of the company, though not necessarily holding a majority stake in the stock of the participating company.
The participating companies benefit greatly also by leveraging our global pool of expertise in addition to getting the needed financial injection for growth.
In such participations, we aim for full divestment and withdrawal within a span of 3-6 years.
3). Dekkaan Publishing
We undertake worldwide publication of books written by our partners and associates in selected genres if they meet high quality standards and are perceived to add value to the readers.
To achieve worldwide distribution, we make use of the large globally established publishing companies, aggregators, and wholesalers.
Our latest publication is a masterpiece in financial mathematics and wealth building by Mr. Jacob Sebastian which is titled “Compounding, The Wizard of Wealth Building”. It is the first book in a series titled “Highway to Riches”.
